Check out my SDCC Jim Lee Blueline Edition Batman figure! It's mega cool with a rubbery texture in the perfect display case! I'm always a sucker for monochrome so I thought I'd dress in his colours!

Then, burger & shakes, obvi!

Every time I come back from Cali I get major withdrawal from its amazing good food for endless months on end. Literally nothing compares, not even this Cali Burger + Strawberry Shake...I wish I lived there...!!!

Pimms, Pizzas and Pop Vinyls!

I absolutely love summers in London especially when it's a good one like this year's! Most evenings the Sun retires with the most gorgeously rendered sky after a hard 17 hour shift. I went out last night with my boys channelling my California Girl and simply could not believe the heat behind that sun still at 7pm! 

My recent post was about Mad Max & feminism; all the funnier when Chris Pratt aka Starlord talks about how he feels objectified too filming Jurassic World - haha I love it!

5 July 2015>> So, I finally caught Jurassic World this week, now I don't have that nostalgic relationship to the original Jurassic Park like most people my generation would as my mother had always banned us from the movie, deeming it too scary for us to watch. In fact I only watched the whole movie properly a year or two ago!

First things first, Chris Pratt was surprisingly HOT as the compassionate Owen. I watch New Girl so to see 'Nick Miller' (Jake M. Johnson) brought a sense of realism, which I think was what his role was for; just a guy at his desk. The older nephew of the heroin is suspiciously good looking; much like a Beckham child (Brooklyn to be specific).

The plot has a very similar skeleton to the original, but I enjoyed the sequel a whole lot more and found myself thoroughly gripped and entertained until the end. The conflict of interests and morals were poetically debated, much like the contrasting roles Owen & Claire were put in the Park to do, later diffusing into mutual admiration. Aww. 

All in all, I'd give it a solid 9/10!

Heat Wave Baby!

So we've got two weeks of spring!! I'm absolutely loving it as, well, who wouldn't? 

I'm absolutely obsessed with this clutch. It comes in both black and white - this is obviously the white, while the black carries black spike studs. They are super gorgeous! The Pink Brick Wall

I'm still trying to catch up with the load of outfits I archived before I started my travels thinking I was going to be super organised and still be able to manage the blog. Oh how I continue to overestimate myself! Anyway, slightly embarrassed to say that I am still trying to catch up! But with Christmas now out of the way - I am hopeful!

This was one of my favourite of the bunch, mainly cos of this amazing wall. Second reason is because I had compliments all day in this skirt. It was sent to me from Missguided - a new brand I have been assigned. I was a little conscious at the beginning as we were stuck in traffic for 2-3 hours and the skirt creases rather easily. That is until we started walking that girls were looking wide-eyed and some even asked me outright where I got it from - which is never bad news! So yes girls - Missguided! I otherwise really like this wrap skirt! It really elongates our legs!

Then onto the shoes - from River Island. This is one of their best selling construction and I was sent this pair to see what I thought. I have another pair of this with a different upper (bootie with buckles and cut-outs but same sole unit) and this was a little narrow for me. Actually gave me blisters but I do have wide feet though so it's probably nothing to most people! Thought I'd share anyway as it is my job afterall! ;)

Sorbet Leather

As promised I am trying harder to find time to upload pictures - to realize that it's actually been ages since I did an outfit post! Time is flying at warp speed!

I did this one just before I left UK - is it still just as hot now for this look to be relevant? I had a lot of fun with this outfit; summer leathers in full colourful swing and absolutely love this last accidental photo!! Am going to putting it across all my profile pictures I think!!

Million Dollar Bill

This look is completely inspired by these gorgeous Prada shoes on my very lucky feet. Do you like this look? I've sadly got two regrets; first being lighting, second being my hair. Please try to overlook the quality of the pictures as lighting was really limited and it turned out worse than expected. I only had the shoes for a couple of hours without notice too which didn't help; and lead to the hair. If I had a bit more time I might have spotted the need to do my hair up. If I had had a really nice 60's up-do with a hair band - this look would have been so much more...

Regardless, I really loved every single piece I wore with this look - especially this new, super gorgeous, legendary watch by BVLGARI!
