Dinner Date

Sorry I indulged a bit in the hair-fixing shots, they rest were just not as nice for a change! The idea of this printed dress from H&M Divided is quite clever, panelling the sides for a dramatic slimming effect. It has a zip down down the chest in the front which looked really good until I put it on and found it confusing instead. When completely unzipped it is completely below the base of the bra line - not ok. At halfway, looks neither here or there. So I just zipped it all the way but optically it wasn't the most flattering on the chest shape. Anyway, it was very comfortable and I have already seen it on the streets worn by other people! Are you one of them? Where do you leave the zip at?

Turns out this outfit is too ambitious for the snowy weather. I thought my toes were going to fall off from how freezing green my feet went! Do we like the staircase?

Anyway, this is my Look 2 with these silver leggings from Forever 21 - the same pair from this post back in February, coincidentally also in Jeffrey Campbell's! The sheer top here is also from Forever 21, and it is oh-so versatile. Its collar really is double layered in its black then white, which is my favourite thing about it. This outfit also makes Look 2 for the top; I wore it with a toothhound skirt but never put it on here, only on Chicisimo but you can still see it on the widget on the right! (To reinstate for my new members, each item I receive to style&wear trial requires 2 Looks/Occasions for a pass!)

I love ticking things off the list!

Fluffy Fetish

The task at hand were these glossy patent trousers. If not styled carefully it could end up a massive wardrobe malfunction, looking like a fetish costume not going to a party. So to keep it contemporary, I rolled the legs up and wore it with a pink fluffy jumper! Like the look? These trousers are from River Island! x

I am wearing: Floral shirt from Uniqlo, pink jumper & Sunglasses from H&M, jacket from Maje, patent trousers & neon gumball ring from River Island, Vintage feather brooch from Paris, Aldo heels, and unfortunately this gorgeous embellished clutch is not yet in shops.
