The Making Of...

I was invited to Warner Brother's Studio Tours a while back; to The Making of Harry Potter to be precise. Now before you turn away - one definitely does not need to be a die-hard fan to appreciate this place. It takes a lot get me excited in most things, yet I was genuinely blown away. I felt like I was walking through a museum of cinematography art more than anything else and I thoroughly enjoyed my time there so much. The time frame suggested as the duration of the tour was 3 hours; which sounds like a long time but to my surprise - you would genuinely want to spend 3 hours soaking up all the details the place has to offer.

I have a brand new appreciation for cinematography and the film making industry.

There is so much we take for granted when we watch a movie. Every single detail and every single object in every shot was not only a decision made, but backed by a team of artists to physically realise it. Remember all the paintings in the stairwells of the movies? Each and every one of these oil paintings were painted by genuine artists, then cleverly aged to its purpose. See? Blown away. Yet this is only the tip of the iceberg. I'm not going to bore you with any more text as I feel it really deserves a real life experience than me trying to tell you through cyberspace writing! So honestly - book your tickets and I super highly recommend getting the Digital Guide with it to make the most of your experience!

Daniel Radcliffe's hands are smaller than mine...?!

NOT promoting drink driving whatsoever!

P.S. This model Hogwarts (R) that they actually filmed with is absolutely breathtaking!

Harry & Ron's bedroom from the start! See the cases under the two beds on the right? They were so little then!
I have refrained myself from posting all my pictures as I don't wish to spoil your experience! You have my word though that this is totally worth a day out whoever you choose to go with!

Too Bright?

Seeing it is literally spring now, I'm feeling the shame of being so behind on my posts! So bare with me while this and the next couple posts might look a tad too wintery.

I wore this back in early January, before I realised everybody has this coat from Topshop - and I didn't even buy it from the sales...yes it then went on sale...

Heat Wave Baby!

So we've got two weeks of spring!! I'm absolutely loving it as, well, who wouldn't?

I'm absolutely obsessed with this clutch. It comes in both black and white - this is obviously the white, while the black carries black spike studs. They are super gorgeous! They are handmade by the London brand Vivian Ying - where again (see last post) you have an exclusive half price coupon to shop at! Simply type in YNMS50 at checkout and get investing on your designer leather clutch!!

P.S. My nails are Gwen Stefani for OPI's Satin Black; which on its own is basically just matte black... what do you guys think? I personally would probably rather a matte topcoat...

The Boss of Me

Isn't this just the cutest outfit ever? I was invited to attend TG last weekend and this was my outfit for it - do we adore? It's my first latex outfit ever and I must say I simply love every part of it! The level of liberation was intimidating at first but eye opening and frankly exhilarating soon after! It was an experience I'll never forget and I'm going again next month hah!

I feel like the pieces that make this outfit is so fun that it could be taken apart for every-day mix and match. After all, wetlooks, PVC, and leather fashion are already so widely in mainstream. The glossy look and texture of latex is simply irreplaceable!

Glowing in this Badass Artefact

I came across this piece of war artefact outside the wartime museum at Woolwich Arsenal and I simply couldn't resist but to crawl in!

1/1: My 100th Post!!

TO THIS NEW YEAR'S RESOLUTION

I'm a fan of new years resolutions. I think it's a good point to pause and reflect, and look to improve for a better future for ourselves. Nowadays we're all constantly in a rush, on the clock, in a haze. Mind, I have a firm obsession with time myself, which probably makes this all the more important that I can make sure I don't waste any of it without knowing.

I'm feeling extra positive this new year - probably more than ever before! Here are my 3 resolutions for the year 2014 ahead of me; it's important to be realistic and focused. I used to write a whole list of things I'd like to achieve no matter how small or big, thinking it'd be good to be able to tick off half of it by the end of the year! Now though I think it's much more effective to stay focused on a few important things, so we don't overwhelm ourselves or be as big a defeatist I was. These are hardly original but I feel everyone can benefit from; in the order of priority:

1.
From 2013, I realised I focus a lot on negatives than I do on positives; basically taking negatives too seriously and dismissing positives too easily - driving myself into corners which is never healthy. That is why when I came across this I just know it's the perfect potion! I've even ordered my special jar as an incentive! Will any of you join my voyage?

2.
Health & Fitness: This seems awfully generic but it doesn't need to be if you're determined. I spent most of last year stuck in a chair, be it at my desk or in a car, for my brand/business, being deeply unhappy and gained a lot of unhappy weight. So this year, I would like to start exercising again and regain my body happiness! We all know fitness generates happy hormones! I simply can't wait to take up yoga again!

3.
I'd like to officially try something new every week! (Everyday seemed too ambitious as I thought my No.1 Resolution was more important to myself right now, then my original idea of every month seemed a little naff - so every week it is!) No matter how big or small, it's always good to surprise our eyes and awaken our minds as life starts becoming a very fixed routine, like a rat race. Even walking a different street to work you've never been down counts! I'm very open to new suggestions though as I'm not sure how I'll find something new to discover every week yet...but I'd certainly like to try and am determined to make it happen!

I hope I have inspired your January 1st a little, and don't listen to those January Blues talks - toxins they are!

The Pink Brick Wall

I'm still trying to catch up with the load of outfits I archived before I started my travels thinking I was going to be super organised and still be able to manage the blog. Oh how I continue to overestimate myself! Anyway, slightly embarrassed to say that I am still trying to catch up! But with Christmas now out of the way - I am hopeful!

This was one of my favourite of the bunch, mainly cos of this amazing wall. Second reason is because I had compliments all day in this skirt. It was sent to me from Missguided - a new brand I have been assigned. I was a little conscious at the beginning as we were stuck in traffic for 2-3 hours and the skirt creases rather easily. That is until we started walking that girls were looking wide-eyed and some even asked me outright where I got it from - which is never bad news! So yes girls - Missguided! I otherwise really like this wrap skirt! It really elongates our legs!

Then onto the shoes - from River Island. This is one of their best selling construction and I was sent this pair to see what I thought. I have another pair of this with a different upper (bootie with buckles and cut-outs but same sole unit) and this was a little narrow for me. Actually gave me blisters but I do have wide feet though so it's probably nothing to most people! Thought I'd share anyway as it is my job afterall! ;)

Last Friday Before Christmas!

It's the last day at the office for many of us! Are you more organised this year compared to the last like you promised yourself last Christmas? Made no such promise as you have always been an Organisation Goddess? Hehe, well I am definitely more like the prior than the later!

Anywho, still trying to catch up with posts but I thought this white skater skirt is a lot like christmas indeed. I did this outfit back in October which explains the lack of layers (remember our warm October?) and my long straight hair. I've been crushing on this blue for a long time now and the items in this shade is steadily growing! Can't wait to show you what I acquired from Selfridges this week! EEK! I love it SO so so much! In fact, I'm going to post it on Instagram right after this!

I'm crushing on this colour so hard that even my Christmas Tree is this colour! xP

I was also so in love with this bag, instantly chic's up any outfit!
